BACKGROUND
Manoj Mourya Ramesh was born on 01.11.1991 into a family of educationists and philanthropists. His father Sri M Ramesh is the Chairman of renowned Jayam Group of Institutions, located in Dharmapuri district. Smt Parvathi Ramesh, his mother is one of the founder trustees of Jayam Educational Trust.
ACADEMICS
Sri Manoj Mourya had his school days molded at the prestigious Montfort Anglo Indian Higher Secondary School at Yercaud.
In the year 2013, Sri Manoj Mourya armed himself with a Bachelors’ degree in Computer Science and Engineering, graduating from the hallowed precincts of PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore with a CGPA score of 7.17.
In his insatiable quest for knowledge , Sri Manoj Mourya enrolled himself into the Newcastle Business School, Northumbra University, New Castle, U.K and passed out in the year 2015 with a commendation in MSc business with International Management.
MILESTONES
As an under graduate, Sri Manoj Mourya completed a project – Obstacle avoidance robot – a self explanatory activity. Post his graduation, he did a study on the pre eminence and dominance of engineering colleges in Tamil Nadu vis a vis other disciplines. This study also analysed why mid tier colleges stagnated and never got elevated as top tier colleges.
ACCOLADES
An avid table tennis and football player, follower and enthusiast, Sri Manoj Mourya not only captained one of the three school houses in 2009, but also received the best captain award the same year.
OTHER INTERESTS
A sports buff with interests in football, tennis, cricket and badminton, Sri Manoj Mourya has an ear for good music and also enjoys exploring through travel.
Born to illustrious parents he carries their genes and has inherited their leadership qualities.
